Baltar
What songs would be good to play in the next installment of Guitar Hero? There are a lot of good songs out there but remember ones thats work for a setlist in Guitar Hero. Link to comment
Belial
You'd also have to keep in mind the songs have to be resonably popular and catchy, and most of all, the guitar work has to be good, or at least good enough to make a hard Guitar Hero song. And there's probably a large number of legal concerns, but barring them, I'd like to see a number of songs in the next Guitar Hero (does anyone doubt a sequel?) Cream - White Room CCR - Born on the Bayou Bowie - Rebel Rebel Foo Fighters - Monkey Wrench, Weenie Beenie Green Day - Welcome to Paradise (Hey, if they turned a Bad Religion song and a Romones song into Guitar Hero songs, they could definitely do a Green Day song) Guns N' Roses - Pretty much any song, since Slash is great. Hendrix - God please let there be more Hendrix Zeppelin - Good Times Bad Times, Communication Breakdown, Hearbreaker, Black Dog Modest Mouse - Float On Muse - Hysteria Pearl Jam - Animal Rush - A Passage To Bangkok Smashing Pumpkins - Zero, Bullet With Butterfly Wings, Cherub Rock System of a Down - Toxicity Velvet Revolver - More Slash The Vines - Get Free The Who - Any of the songs that Pete really shines on. This list was pretty much just me going through my playlist and looking for songs that sounded like they'd be fun to play on the Guitar Hero controller, most of them would probably be good for the first few venues though, since not many of them have outrageous solos. Also, I really think they should make a Co-op Career in any sequel, since that would rock alot. Link to comment
Crube
Some Iron Maiden would be nice too. And Megadeths Take No Prisoners should be fun. Link to comment

Belial
ZOMG dubble post. Anyway, I'd like some Beatles. And Presidents. And more Hendrix. Beatles would be real hard, probably because I can't really think of any great guitar Beatles songs other then "Helter Skelter" and "Happiness is a Warm Gun", and because I'm pretty sure the rights to most of those songs are locked up tight. (Many in Neverland Ranch, fucking Michael Jackson) Link to comment
Ceraziefish
Both of those songs would be excellent. In fact, those are probably my two favorite Beatles songs, right there. Also, I second 'White Room.' That song would be great. Oh, and we need some surf music. Where you have to click the pick-button-thing up and down really fast to keep the note (on hard, anyway). Dick Dale would be perfect for this, and Misirlou is his classic. I'd rather see Night Rider or Ghost Riders in the Sky, though. Link to comment

Both of which are also on the White Album. Link to comment
Ceraziefish
Fuck Birthday. Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except for Me and My Monkey is cool in my book, though. Link to comment
Excel
I've learned to never ask a person what they want in the next Guitar Hero. Just look at the official forums. "SLIPKNOT!" "ICP!" "MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE!" "FALLOUT BOY!" Shoot me, please. Sum41 is as close to all of those as I want to get. Link to comment
