In Flames - Come Clarity

This is the official Come Clarity discussion thread.

I've only given it one spin so far, and listened to a few tracks multiple times.. and so far I just love it

Liked the first few alvums but I have never been much of an in flames fan especially after recent releases. I'll give it a try for you wind.

I listened to it once yesterday and I enjoyed it. I'm gonna give it a more thorough listening to today though.

I think it's the best thing they've done since Clayman... which is saying alot since THOUROUGHLY enjoyed the first half of Reroute.

With that out of the way, I will say the CD, like Reroute, is SUPER inconsistant. AKA there are some total SHIT tracks. But all in all, I think it's a pleasant surprise. Take This Life and Versus Terminus are my two favorite tracks.

And just to note, this still doesn't come close to the glory of middle-age IF status. Colony still reigns.

I think it's more of a "yeah, this is what I kinda expected" sorta album. It could've been a LOT better. But hey... I'll take what they gave me. I'll still be purchasing it (to keep my discography intact)

Leeches is horrible. I swear it's a carbon copy of Dead Alone of STYE. Only replace worms with leeches. Ugh.

I'd listen to it but I don't care for albums that I can't listen to all the way through. I don't get albums that require me to skip through tracks.

i'm up to "versus terminus" and haven't been too thrilled by any songs so far. like, none of them have made me want to replay them for their radness
