amy
What do you think of salad in a bag? I used to think it was the height of luxury! Until my dad bought some and it was wilted. But then he bought another bag and it was fine. It had those little slices of cabbage and carrot which is nice since nobody wants to buy a whole cabbage. Link to comment
Suga Babe
I've never seen this...and heard of it now...from you... Link to comment
margot
How funny, I just got done eating some salad from "salad in a bag." I remember I first saw one when I was like 8 and thought how grown-up and for the sophisticated mother they were. I don't like salad though so I don't eat them much. XD Link to comment
amy
me too! it had primarily iceberg lettuce and I used balsamic viniagrette. Link to comment
Harrison Ford
It's the wave of a few years ago. I prefer the plastic containers over the bags. Keeps the salad fresh. Link to comment

Gundampilotspaz
I have never heard of such a thing. Link to comment
Siendra
I'd rather make a salad fresh, but they're good when I want a quick snack. Still, I like to have three kinds of lettuce, cabbage, Cucumber, Carrots, Tomato's, purple onion, broccoli, califlower, and cheese in my salads, so bagged salads don't really cut it. Link to comment
Anime Gee
I can't stand salad in a bag! ( >o<)/ Link to comment

I didn't even have to read the poster's name. I get the lettuce from a bag, but the rest of the stuff is added to it. I don't think I've ever had a salad in a bag. Link to comment

Nega-Brent
No, but it's cheaper. Not really. Link to comment
Siendra
No, but it's cheaper. No it's not. It only costs about $1 in ingredients to make a salad. One of my salads, not one of those pansy "I've got lettuce and croutons!" salads. A bagged salead is three bucks. Link to comment
darkon
Not really. I'm talking family of four here. In winter we save money, gas included, in just getting the bag salad once a week and having it last us for 2 or 3 days. Link to comment

Essentially you pay more for less, all for the sake of avoiding the minor inconveiniance of chopping vegetables. Link to comment

v for vicki
Okay, so I love salad, all kinds and have had many experiences with the infamous 'salad in a bag'. They have Caesar salad in a bag, but that probably can only feed two for lunch, I think it's meant for one person though. But salad in a bag is great because you can get kinds with shredded carrots in it, cabbage, different types of lettuce. It's so much easier than chopping up a ton of crap. Link to comment
