Galkar
I just came back from a pre-screening of this, and it was awesome. I have yet to read the comic, though I have it on my computer and am just about to start reading it. I thought the movie was very well written, and the cinematography was amazing. Link to comment

Galkar
I give it 2 out of 2 stars (best rating system ever). Link to comment
Ceraziefish
Pure sex. Some bad pacing. Some less-than-stellar action scenes (although that's just me complaining, because the action scenes were great but a lot worse than the rest of the movie). But besides that I could not fault this movie. Link to comment
Tanni Foemangler
i thought it was pretty lame that the billboards for the movie say "from the people who brought you the matrix!", but don't mention alan moore anywhere. lame as for watching the movie... theatre-going is out of my price range Link to comment
Artie
i need to see this movie. it looks sweet. mmm...slow motion explosions and knives......*drool* Link to comment

Crube
why for? i'd look it up myself but it probably sounds better from someone other than goooogle He didn't like how the movies deviate somewhat from his work. Link to comment
Nega-Brent
Basically Alan Moore disowns any script based on his work that isn't 100% faithful to the source material. I don't think he cares whether or not the movies end up being 6 hours long. Link to comment
LeadingMan
Alan Moore asked not to be mentioned in the adverts or credits. Edit: DAMMIT GIMPSTA! I love you even though you keep trying to steal my kool-aid. But yes, Arsinol has it right. Basically he saw the screenplays for League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, V for Vendetta, and Watchmen and decided he wanted his name pulled from all movies based on his work. However he also completely disowned DC over some legal issues as well. And being that the movie rights are owned by DC / Warner... Can't say I blame him. I'd hate to have my name anywhere near LoEG. LoEG sucked, but if the other movies end up being good then he's just going to look like a dick. Link to comment

JesusTheNinja
Even though my friends were too dumb to know who was behind the mask from the preview, we're all still going to see it.Now this worries me a little. (Spoiler?) You're not supposed to know who V is under his mask; in fact, I'm pretty sure it would have taken a whole lot away from the comic if you found out. So when you say they were "too dumb", do you mean that the commercial hinted towards it being someone and they didn't pick up on it, or did they just not realize who the actor was? I've read reviews of the film/script, and I'm a little worried, but I'll still be seeing it for my birthday. Link to comment

LeadingMan
That movie was amazing. An excellent adaptation. I'm a little sad they changed the speech he gives on TV, but the rest of the movie was spot on. Link to comment
Crube
Hm... it is down between the remake of The Hills Have Eyes or V for Vendetta. Link to comment
Venom112
why for? Because Alan Moore whines... A lot. The medical term is "bitch-and-moan-alitis" and Alan Moore almost has a terminal case of it. Link to comment
